Welcome to Bay Area Impex, By using our courier and logistics services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Company/We/Us: Refers to Bay Area Impex.
Customer/You: The person or entity sending or receiving shipments using our services.
Shipment: Any parcel, document, or package entrusted to us for delivery.
We provide courier and logistics services within international destinations as per the service booked. Service timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed, unless otherwise stated under special service agreements. Delivery is subject to customs clearance, government regulations, and transportation availability.
Ensure correct and complete address details of the consignee. Provide accurate declaration of contents, weight, and value of the shipment. Pack shipments safely and securely to withstand normal handling during transit. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and restrictions related to the shipment. The maximum permissible shipment value under courier mode is INR 25,000.
We do not carry items that are illegal, hazardous, dangerous, or restricted under law, including but not limited to explosives, flammable items, firearms, narcotics, drugs, and negotiable instruments.
Our liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the declared value of the shipment or 100CAD, whichever is lower, unless additional insurance is purchased. Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days from the date of delivery or expected delivery.
Customers may request additional insurance coverage for high-value/commercial shipments at an extra cost. Without insurance, compensation is limited to standard liability.
For international shipments, customs clearance procedures are the sole responsibility of the consignee. Any duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country are payable by the consignee.
We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or return shipments that are improperly packed, prohibited, misdeclared, or unsafe for transport.
All charges must be paid in full before or at the time of booking, unless a credit agreement exists. Additional charges may apply for remote area delivery, re-delivery, address correction, storage, or customs handling.
Bay Area Impex reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
